Rome is full of history. Check out the Pantheon and the Vatican Museum, or see the Trevi Fountain (one of the most famous fountains in the world). Rome is also close to Pompeii and Florence, and of course the many great wineries of Italy. This is a can’t miss city!
If you like wine, this is the place to be! There are many Port wine cellars, some of which offer a free tasting. There’s also a whole host of other vineyards to travel to and explore. If wine isn’t your thing, see the city by taking a cruise up the beautiful Douro River.
London has so much to offer, you could spend an entire month there. First, see the London Eye – a ferris wheel that gives you a great view of the city. The city is very bike friendly, so rent a bike and ride around to the various sites. It’s a cheap and easy way to see a lot. Tour the Tower of London, and then get a bite to eat in one of the many quaint neighborhoods just minutes from the city center. This city has it all!
The city of love! Before checking out the Eiffel Tower at night (a must when you go to Paris), sit at one of the many sidewalk cafes and let the afternoon float by. See the Louvre Museum, which aside from being a work of art in itself, contains the Mona Lisa and many other famous works of art. If you’re interested in history, go to Notre Dame, the Gothic cathedral that was built in the 12th and 13th centuries.
Walk the winding streets of the Old Town in Florence and get lost for an afternoon. Florence has beautiful architecture and amazing museums, and of course there is the wine. While you’re there, visit two nearby Medieval Villages – Siena and San Gimignano.
