The Growth Hacking Setup
In this workshop, we take the first and fundamental steps towards setting up your growth journey. We look at how to build an online presence and backlinks; we cover the Drive, budgets, internal communication channels and reports. We also look at the dangers of vanity metrics and introduce good alternative metrics.
In this tutorial, we go through SEO from the perspective of a growth hacker. We look at analytics, we do a walk-through of Ahrefs and LSI Keywords and how they are linked to content. The goal is to teach you the SEO hacks needed to dominate rankings and give you the right tools to implement them successfully in your overall growth strategy.
Growth Hacking Content
In this workshop, we learn to identify good content according to the 80/20 Pareto Principle. We look at examples of content pieces that have propelled companies to success and practice creating our own. In this workshop you also learn Skyscraping techniques for content and how to use Reddit, Quora and BuzzSumo/BuzzzStream for curated content. We also look into video content, SEO for video and how to use Title Generators.
Social Media Content + Curated Content
In this tutorial, we take a look at social media content and curated content and learn to make a distinction between what works and what doesn’t (and why) on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Through exercises, we learn to use a keyword strategy, how to build templates of keyword lists and how to create content in the right format.
Amplification + PR + Reach
Amplification is what distinguishes a good marketer from a bad one. In this workshop, we learn how to amplify your reach. We learn how to amplify on Social Media, how to use Q&A Sites, Forums and commenting, as well as the do’s and don’ts of virtual assistants. We also dive into the best practices of content exchange.
Growth Hacking SoMe + Optimizing Processes
This tutorial is all about how to optimize your social media strategies from a growth hacking perspective. We learn how to truly get to know your audience and how to see which platform works best for them; what content to use for which platform (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and the ins and outs of bulk posting. Finally, we look at how to use Slack for improved engagement and how to curate the right content for SoMe.
Influencer Marketing and how to engage + WIN
In this tutorial, we dive into the best practices of influencer marketing. We understand why micro-influencers are the new community builders and how to navigate this field successfully. We keep it practical and take you through all the steps; from discovery tools and outreach, to the ins and outs of setting up referral campaigns and rewards. We also look at the best ways to spark growth by working with affiliates.
SEM: Search Engine Marketing - Paid Social Media
This tutorial teaches you to navigate the SEM djungle. We look at how to get started with ads, how to perform a fruitful competitor research, what types of ads convert the best, the importance of custom audience, how to recycle content, boost posts and more. It is a jam packed class, designed to leave you with an optimal paid social media strategy.
In this tutorial, you learn to optimise your AdWords campaigns. We help you set up your strategy and teach you how to optimise search ads, improve your landing page, work with display networks and how to set up great retargeting campaigns.
Tech Stack + Funnel + CRO
In this workshop it is again time to roll up your sleeves – this time to establish a successful sales funnel. More often than not, there is a lack of understanding between the sales and marketing teams and we will look at why and how to fix it. With support from your instructor, you will define your sales process each step of the way, map user journeys and learn how to provide the sales team with all the things they need.
Choosing your Marketing Funnel Tech Stack
In this tutorial we take you through the vital steps of choosing a marketing funnel tech stack. We look at how to capture leads, the importance of CRM (it’s essential!), how to collect the right data from your visitors (and how to analyse it) and how to set up a database with integration of user data for custom messaging. Finally, we look at product onboarding and how to engage your customers.
Managing + Building your Team
In this final workshop, we have reached the implementation stage. You now have a jam-packed kit of new tools and best practices on your hands and it is time to go back to the office and start launching growth strategies. In this last workshop we look at how to build the perfect growth team and the processes needed for it to run smoothly. We look at how to run weekly marketing meetings, how to learn from failures and how to be the manager you always wish you had. Without great
leadership, good hacks are wasted, and to create real and sustainable growth you have to bring out the best in your team.
