Blockchain, artificial intelligence and immersive technology attracted entrepreneurs, professionals and innovators to Talent Garden Calabiana in Milan, Italy.
After the success of the event, a partnership is now underway to feature some of Futureland’s content at the Artificial Intelligence Summit in Dongguan next December.
The second edition of Futureland, dedicated to the new frontiers of emerging technologies like Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence and Immersive Technology (Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and respective applications) closed with significant attendance numbers and high involvement of the public.
Over 80 international speakers, 700 companies and 40 live experiences and demos resulted in two incredible days that brought together corporates, startups, managers and innovators to explore and experience the way these technologies are changing the business world. The need to understand and invest in these technologies was also emphasised by the Minister of Economic Development, Labour and Social Policies Luigi Di Maio who was interviewed on stage the closing day.
The event was divided into two main areas, the Conference Stage where high profile local and international speakers shared their knowledge and experience with the public and the Experience Area, where the participants were able to meet new business realities, participate in discussions, and try new technologies. This type of event format proclaimed the success of the conference that had already earned the BEA (Best Event Award) for the first edition.
Over 1,500 entrepreneurs, professions and innovators were registered in the two days. A qualified business audience that confirms the high need for in-depth analysis and knowledge of the impacts and opportunities offered to companies and organisations by the integration and use of the technologies presented and discussed. A demand that unites all markets on a global level, for this reason, Futureland has started its first partnership abroad to bring some of the content from the event to the Artificial Intelligence Summit of Dongguan the next 11 and 12 December.
Futureland 2018 was made possible thanks to the support of the main partners Be, Intesa Sanpaolo, Randstad, A2A, Fastweb. Partners Digital Magics, Poste Italiane, Eni, IBM, MSD, Electrolux, Generali Italy, Alkemy, Lavazza, Realmore, Docebo and media partners Sky and RDS.
