Despite the fact that only around 25% of the global workforce in STEM industries are women and the number of women in leadership positions within these industries is even lower, with just 5% of CEO positions held by women or that just 3% of Nobel Prizes in Physics, Chemistry, and Physiology or Medicine have been awarded to women these statistics are changing, thanks to the efforts of women like the ones we're highlighting in this article.
