Competition T&Cs – World Entrepreneurs’ Day

1. General information:
– The World Entrepreneurs’ Day raffle will be held from 19.08.2019 by Talent Garden Ireland, with the winner being announced on 26.08.19.
– Eligible participants must be aged 18 or over.
– Participation is voluntary and free. The participants only have to bear the costs associated with participation over the internet (internet connection usage fee). The participation and the chances of winning are independent of the purchase of goods or the use of services.
– Employees of the organiser and their family members along with existing Talent Garden members are excluded from participation. By participating, the participants accept these official conditions of participation.
– The organiser reserves the right to check the e-mail address provided by the participant, as well as to request proof of age at its own discretion. In the case of disputes, applications with an invalid e-mail address or false information regarding the age of the participant are considered as ineligible.
– Participants can only enter via the internet, which requires registration on the social network Twitter.
– By participating in the sweepstakes, entrants accept the terms of use of Twitter, available at
– The competition is not sponsored or organised by Twitter in any way. All questions, comments and complaints are not to be directed to Twitter, but directly to the organiser. By accepting the Terms of Participation, entrants acknowledge that they can not acquire any claims against Twitter when participating in the promotion.
2. Information on the process:
– Participation in the competition is to be done online on Twitter by answering the question “What is the best advice you have ever received as an Entrepreneur?” .
– At the end of the competition period (19.08.2019 to 26.08.2019), a total of 2 winners will be selected from the entrants and will be informed by Talent Garden Dublin announcing the winners’ names in the comments underneath the tweet. The winners will be asked to contact Talent Garden Dublin via e-mail at to receive the prize.
– Only one prize per participant – multiple registrations are not possible.
– Talent Garden Dublin reserves the right to stop the competition at any time. The execution of the raffle and the selection of the prizes are the sole responsibility of the organiser. No participant is obliged to accept a prize.
– No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.
3. Prizes:
– Among the registered participants, 1 registered participant will win a 3 month Talent Garden Dublin full membership (up to 4 desks for their company).
– The prize must be used within 2019 e.g. participants must start their membership no later than October 1st 2019.
– Winner must abide by Talent Garden licence agreement and code of conduct.
– To the extent permitted by law, all prices are given without warranty of any kind, either express or implied (including, but not limited to, the implied warranty of satisfactory quality or fitness for a particular purpose). There is no possibility to exchange the respective prices for cash. The prices are non-transferable and non-refundable.
– The competition and the selection of prizes will be carried out at the sole discretion of the organiser. The organiser’s decisions in all matters relating to the competition are final. It is possible for the organiser to fix one-off substitute prices.
– The organiser reserves the right to withdraw prizes if these were achieved by false information of personal data, or attempts to influence the outcome of games by program interventions, disruptions or other illegal means, or influence the game by deliberately caused malfunctions and disruptions.
– The promoter has the right to change and/or withdraw winnings if the results of the game have been obtained by a user due to a violation; even if this rule violation is technically possible without the user having special knowledge, skills or technical requirements. Such changes and/or disqualifications may also affect the winnings of other users.
– If the winners of the prizes do not contact Talent Garden Dublin within two weeks after the notification in the comments of the tweet, the claim on the prize expires.
4. Privacy
– All participants agree by their participation in the competition, that the organiser in connection will possess their details for the use of the raffle and for determining winners (e.g. Twitter account name, first name, last name, date of birth and e-mail).
– All personal data provided by the participant will only be collected, processed and used within the framework of the applicable data protection laws and for purposes that result from the law, or for which the participant has expressly consented. This personal data will not be passed on to third parties.
– The organiser is also entitled to transmit the winners’ data – as far as necessary – to their cooperation partners and co-organisers in order to enable the delivery of the prizes.
– As the organiser operates internationally, this may mean that the personal data of the participants is transferred to other countries.
The participant has the right at any time to request the rectification, updating and/or the partial or total deletion of their personal data. The organiser will ensure the deletion of the data immediately in case of a corresponding request. Please note that the processing time may vary depending on the chosen communication method.
– The participant has the right to inform themselves about the personal data kept by the organiser.
5. Final provisions
– The Competition Promoter is excluded from liability for any loss, damage or injury which might occur to the winner arising from his or her acceptance of the prize.
– The Competition Promoter hereby excludes any and all liability whatsoever and howsoever arising (save for liability of the Competition Promoter for death or injury to any of the entrants as a result of the competition promoter’s negligence or the negligence of the Competition Promoter’s employees or agents) in respect of all eventualities that may arise as a result of the entrants’ participation in the competition and the entrants hereby agree and accept that they shall enter the competition at their own risk and under their own volition without any recourse to the Competition Promoter of any kind whatsoever save as provided herein.
– By registering, the participant fully agrees to the participation and business conditions. The organisers reserve the right to adapt, modify or replace these terms and conditions at any time.
– The Competition Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. 
– These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Ireland and subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.
