Do you know where the term UX Design comes from or how it evolved?
The term UX Design appeared for the first time in a book by Donald Norman published in 1988 called The Design of Everyday Things. The book shared an evolutionary concept that changed the focus from building the system itself and the aesthetics of the interface and put the needs of the user first. Then when Norman joined Apple in the early 90s and eventually became a “user experience architect”, the power of UX took off.
No one factor will determine how a user interacts with a service or product. Or if they will feel satisfied with the experience. That is why a UX Designer needs a blend of technology, research, design, business and psychological skills to design modern-day products and services like apps, websites, or robots.
UX Designers are incredible people who have impacted in countless ways how we interact with objects daily, and we wanted to share some of our favourite quotes with you.
